Unfortunately, we cannot offer any student internship positions, except for Erasmus+ internships, in our group. So, please do not contact me to inquire about internship opportunities in our group if you are not supported by Erasmus+. However, inquiries about self-funded visiting researcher (PhD) positions are more than welcome.
In the Netherlands, PhD positions are paid university jobs, not student positions for which you can simply enroll in a PhD program. They require dedicated funding, typically through a research project or grant. So, please do not contact me asking how to enrol in our PhD program.
If there are no PhD/PostDoc openings posted on our group website, then this means that there are no PhD/PostDoc openings in my group. So, please do not contact me to ask whether there are any PhD/PostDoc openings. Just have a look at our group website or the general vacancy site of the University of Amsterdam.
