- Next year, the last two weeks in the robolab (but not at the same time for both groups).
- SetWalkingVelocity is depreciated since NAOqi 1.22. Should use MoveTo instead.

- Another historical SLAM-video, this time navigation a supermarkte by Siemens in 1999. Georg von Wichert: "
The history of SLAM seems to get some attention on linkedin (see recent posts of Paul Newman). Here is our contribution from Siemens: A video from 1999, showing the (to my knowledge) first ever product containing SLAM. Our navigation system SINAS was applied to professional cleaning. The video in the previous post shows a field test machine that operated for a full year in a public supermarket. Did it contain SLAM? See this video, also from 1999! Note: Loop closure done several times!

- Downloaded multi-Robot SLAM MIT 2001 video from a post of Paul Newman. Probably based on the paper Cooperative concurrent mapping and localization Paul says in his post: "Writing about the history of SLAM I found some old school material from halcyon post-doc days at MIT. This was the first time we ( John Leonard and I - you can see him I think in the last few seconds) had multi-vehicle cooperative SLAM working - I think pre CSAIL in the old AI lab back in early 2001.
...Then we took it to sea - and the ship sank (literally). But thats another story..... Anyway, wow have we come a long way in knowing where you are since then! Videos aren't this dull now."
