Classics in formal semantics and pragmatics
|
Comments are more than welcome. Keep the following in mind, though:
- The list below contains 40 studies written in the period
19602000 which everybody working in the field of formal semantics and
pragmatics should have read. The list does not only contain studies
in semantics and pragmatics proper. Some are rather philosophical or
logical in nature, but here too, the criterion is that they are a must for
students of formal semantics and pragmatics. Ideally,
the list would contain only articles, but in those cases in which a
book/dissertation is so much nicer to read than the paper(s) extracted
from it, the former was included.
