I received a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the Facultad de Ciencias de la Computación of the Benemerita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Puebla, México. Then I got a Master Degree, again in Computer Science, from the Posgrado en Ciencia e Ingeniería de la Computación of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in México City, México, working under the supervision of Francisco Hernández Quiroz.
On February of 2011 I defended my PhD dissertation, Small steps in dynamics of information, at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) of the Universiteit van Amsterdam in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I worked under the supervision of Johan van Benthem.
From December of 2011 to September of 2016 I was a posdoc at the Facultad de Filosofía of the Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain. I worked within the Grupo de Lógica, Lenguaje e Información (Group on Logic, Language and Information).
