Old Results Net Performance IPP-FOM-RMA
The results of the network monitor between the Plasma Physics Institutes
organised under the name Trilateral Euregio Cluster (TEC) are presented
here. The following institutes were participating:
- IPP, Jülich (near Achen),
Germany.
- FOM, Nieuwegein (near Utrecht),
Netherlands.
- LPP-ERM/RMA, Bruxelles, Belgium.
Also the
Faculty of Physics & Astronomy,
Utrecht University, Utrecht, the
Netherlands, was participating in the tests.
The following results are available:
- One directional tests
- Period: 16/05/1999 - 01/08/1999
- In these tests the throughput and roundtrip measurements were measured
only in one direction of a connection. All newer results are
bi-directional.
- Host at ACCU
- Period: 05/08/1999 - 13/09/1999
- In this period a host named SURFnet was placed at the
ACCU to measure the net performance
directly at the
SURFnet backbone.
- Participation of TEN hosts
- Period: 12/09/1999 - 12/12/1999
- In this period also
TEN-155 was participating
in the tests to obtain a better seperation of the performance of TEN-155
from the other networks.
- IPP-FOM monitor
- Period: 22/08/1999 - 06/02/2000
- The first phase of this monitor before
TEN-155 was
participating.
- IPP-FOM-RMA monitor
- Period: 03/09/2000 - 24/08/2001
- The second phase of this monitor after the
TEN-155 tests.
