Description and aim

The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the recent developments in special functions and representation theory, and their applications in mathematical physics and computer algebra. The workshop aims to provide a forum for exchange of ideas on these active and strongly interacting research fields. The workshop is dedicated to Tom Koornwinder on the occasion of his 60th birthday, and will take place the week after the Seventh International Symposium on Orthogonal Polynomials, Special Functions and Applications in Copenhagen, Denmark. Due to the tight time schedule, all talks are by invitation only.

Special issue of Indagationes Mathematicae

Volume 14 (2003) of Indagationes Mathematicae, New Series is a special issue with research papers dedicated to Tom Koornwinder (contents of the special issue).
