Look, Ma, No Matrices! Steven De Keninck -- University of Amsterdam In this talk, we examine how the classic forward rendering pipeline, the workhorse behind much of today's computer gaming and graphics industry, can benefit from a GA overhaul. The accompanying open source renderer features a host of modern features, all in their GA flavor, and comes with some unexpected benefits. We'll go into the details on one of the surprises of this project, and end up deleting both normals and tangents from our vertex descriptors!
