I am currently an assistant professor at Korteweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics, University of Amsterdam. From August 2010 to April 2014, I was a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, University of Cambridge.

My research interest is in Algebraic Geometry and Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry. I received my B.S. degree from University of Science and Technology of China in the year 2005. I received my Ph.D. degree from Columbia University in the year of 2010. My PhD advisor is Johan de Jong.

Together with Lenny Taelman and Arno Kret, we organise the Arithmetic and Algebraic Geometry Seminar at the institute, which includes a reading seminar on K3 surfaces.

Here are some photos of my family.
