I am a PhD student at the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy in Amsterdam working in the group of Carsten Dominik on (exo)planetary atmospheres and protoplanetary disks. I obtained my masters degree in Astronomy & Astrophysics in 2013 at the University of Amsterdam after completing a research thesis titled Twisted light from Kerr black holes under supervision of Alessandro Patruno. Currently I use VLT/SPHERE to study protoplanetary disks at high resolution in scattered light and I am developing a 3D radiative transfer code for (exo)planet atmospheres: ARTES. My personal research interests include (exo)planet atmospheres, protoplanetary disks, planet formation, high-contrast imaging, polarization and radiative transfer modeling.
