Fixed points in the quest for consistency
The endeavour of predicting outcomes of strategic situations
is often challenged by contradictory criteria. Fixed-point theories
offer one major way to achieve consistency in this matter.
We discuss game-theoretic solution concepts with respect to the
following question: "Which are the operators of which these solutions
are fixed points?" One particular focus will be on the interpretation of
forward-induction signals in games of imperfect information.
