- Trying to establishing a connection via ethernet with the Ricoh Theta App. The connection via Wifi is easily established (don't forget the 00), but inside the App the connection this goes wrong. The App version is 1.21.3, the firmware version 1.30.
- I am not the only one with this problem.
- As long as I don't access the camera, the connection stays (could play with the settings).
- For a firmware update (currently 1.60), I need the Windows application. That one also needed an update (from 1.80 to 2.3.3).
- To be able to update, I first had to update Adobe AIR from version 15.0.0.293 to 24.0.0.180 (doing it via Theta update gave a certificate problem).
- Even after the Adobe AIR update, the Theta update gave a problem. Uninstalled the Theta application on my Windows. Had now the choice between the basic app and live-streaming app. Choose the last (UVCBlender). Seems to work only with newer models (although I could register the camera).
- With a newer model (Theta m15), it should also be possible to shoot videos.
- With the new Windows application (basic app SphereViewer), I could do an firmware update. Yet, the newest version is 1.31.
- Tried to connect my Android app, but still there is a disconnection once I want to get an image from the phone.
