RoboCup Rescue

Description

RoboCupRescue project is an international cooperation to promote research and development in this socially significant domain. At this moment, the project has three branches: the Simulation League, the Robot League and the Virtual League. Integration of these activities in the future will create intelligent support systems for international rescue brigades. The University of Amsterdam has experience in both the Robot and Simulation League. In the Simulation League, the UvA has been active both in the Rescue Agents and the Virtual Robots competition:
