I’m an associate professor at the University of Amsterdam, where I lead the theoretical computer science research unit of the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC).
My research spans different applications of logic in computer science and AI, with a particular focus on data management, knowledge representation, and machine learning.
In the past, I worked at INRIA (2009), UC Santa Cruz (2009-2017), Stanford (2013, 2019), LogicBlox (2012-2015), and Google (2015-21).
