The routes OC_MRG -> OC_JCT -> OC_LN_5 and OC_MRG -> OC_JCT -> OCIC_LN_1 are described in the context of the Outer Circle Junction.

As the only block section on the model railway, OC_MRG is equipped with 3 velocity meters. This is required by the local situation because the distance between the point OC_MRG_P1 and the end of the block section is shorter than the length of a train. Since any train must fit between the two velocity meters of a block section, the velocity meter M2 is located before the point and is therefore doubled to both merging lines. Depending on the requested route exactly one of these velocity meters is of ineterest only. So they're connected to each other and may be interpreted as one logical velocity meter. However, it's important to notice that a train which has passed the velocity meter M2 still blocks the point P1.
