Open PhD positions are advertised on my website and on the ILLC website here. If you do not see any positions advertised, it means that I currently do not have funding available and cannot accept new PhD students. Please note that, due to large amounts of emails, I am not able to reply to messages that do not refer to a currently open PhD position, unless you have a scholarship of your own. If you have your own PhD scholarship, you are welcome to contact me, mentioning in your email (1) your background, (2) why you are interested in working with me (be as specific as possible), and (3) what kind of sholarship you have.
If you are enrolled in a Master's programme in the Netherlands (preferably Amsterdam) and are interested in the kind of research carried out in the Dialogue Modelling Group, you are welcome to contact me. In your email please give details about (1) your background and the MSc programme you are enrolled in, (2) your interests and how they relate to our research (be as specific as possible). Please note that, due to large amounts of emails, I am not able to reply to messages that do not adhere to these guidelines. Note also that I'm an ELLIS member and a faculty member of the ELLIS Amsterdam Unit. This means that if you are an MSc student enrolled at the UvA, you may be able to take advantage of the ELLIS MSc Honours programme.
I do not have internships, paid or otherwise. Occasionally, I may accept interns funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Note that, due to large amounts of emails, I am not able to reply to messages asking for internship or research opportunities if the source of funding is not specified.
