I am an associate professor at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of the University of Amsterdam. I am also a member of the computational soft matter lab. My research focuses on understanding the statistical physics associated with the elasticity, mechanics and rheology of disordered materials. My research is heavily based on numerics.
