Route Commands

enginecarcar
"route" : <route> ::= <direc> <block> [<block>]+
A route is specified my a direction and at least two block section. Directions and block sections are specified as usual. A route is a list of block sections connected one by one from the first given block section via optional intermediate block sections to the final block sections. For generating routes trainctrl uses its knowledge about the track system of the model railway.

Route Commands

"get route" : RC-> grt <route>
Display the block sections of the specified route.

"set route" : RC-> srt <route>
Set the operation direction within each block section of the given route to the appropriate value and switch all signals along the route to green or green-yellow, respectively.

"trace route" : RC-> trt <route>
Start tracing all velocity meters along the specified route.

"clear route" : RC-> crt <route>
Set the speed within all block sections of the given route to 0 (power off) and switch all signals along the route to red.

"drive route" : RC-> drt <speed> <speed> <route>
Drive a train along the specified route. All block sections are set to the appropriate operation direction, and to first given speed value which is the operation speed. All signals along the route to green or green-yellow, respectively. When the train arrives at the final block section of the route, the speed is reduced to the second given speed value which must be an engine-dependent slow speed. The train is automatically stopped within the final block section.
