Ktheory for C^{*}algebras, Bott periodicity (not its proof) and the sixterm exact sequence associated to a short exact sequence of C^{*}algebras

some basic skills in homological algebra: chain complexes, homology, chain maps and chain homotopies

Hochschild and cyclic homology, their relation through the SBIsequence, us of alternative projective resolutions. Computation of the Hochschild and cyclic homology of smooth functions on a manifold (not the details of the proof)

The Chern character, commutative (ChernWeil theory), and noncommutative.
