Session 3: Read mapping part 1
The third session deals with mapping of metagenomics read data to reference genomes (or metagenomes), including:
- a brief reminder, why we do this 
- a touch of bioinformatics for sequence alignment 
- a look at the output (alignments) created by read mappers 
- what we can do with this output
