Session 9: Genome reconstruction

The 9th session introduces genome reconstruction from metagenomes. It’s also a hike through machine learning applications. It includes:

  • what’s the aim of genome reconstruction, why is it necessary, and what is the challenge?

  • features that can be used for binning

  • algorithms / approaches

  • quality control, benchmarking, and reporting

The recording is available on the University of Amsterdam’s media site. You can find the slides here: slides session 9.
