Welcome to the Metabarcoding Seminar !

This workshop was held on March 5th, 2024 at the University of Amsterdam. The first part of the workshop dealt with the process of metabarcoding/amplicon sequencing from sampling to sequencing and sequence processing and how it influences the data characteristics you can expect. The second part dealt with sequence processing in more detail and how the dadasnake pipeline deals with some of the bioinformatics challenges.

A similar workshop was held online on June 2nd, 2022. There were two parts, the first giving a general introduction to metabarcoding, and the second discussing details of processing options for sequences from various targets using the dadasnake pipeline as an example.
