  • Chair of the IAPR TC12 : Multimedia and Visual Information Systems.
  • NVPHBV: Member of the board of the Dutch chapter of the IAPR.
  • Member of the NWO commitee for the Computer Science Open Competition
  • IOP: member of the commitee following the activities of cluster B in the IOP image processing.
  • EDDA: a steering group of the council of Amsterdam. It focusses on the preservation of and access to machine readable data. Both technical as well as organizational and legal aspects are of importance here.
